I'm a pianist, guitarist, and vocalist with over 15 years of experience performing at special events. I play a wide range of styles and I love helping my clients personalize their music choices to create the perfect atmosphere for their guests.

ABOUT ME
My primary instrument is piano, which I've played since age six. I also have many years of experience singing and playing guitar, bass, and drums.
Education
I have a B.A. in music from Grinnell College, where my studies focused on classical and jazz piano performance, composition, and arranging. I spent a semester studying opera and jazz in Milan, Italy. I continue to study with a number of mentors, most recently Congolese guitarist Siama Matuzungidi.
Bands
I've played in over 25 bands in Minneapolis since 2007 spanning rock, pop, blues, jazz, folk, country, classical, musical theater, hip-hop, R&B, electronic, and world music. I've released 4 albums of original music with my former bands Military Special and UMAMI and I've recorded with many other artists. I've performed at noteworthy venues like First Avenue and on national TV, and I've toured the country.
